Durstone cin charge us to design its exhibition stand for Cevisama 2013 fair, where they were going to launch their new coatings brand, Q. One of the main premises was to present both brands (the mother brand, Durstone and the new brand, Q ) in a cohesive way within space; considering that Durstone is all black and white and has a minimalist style, while Q is the opposite; A young brand with a modern, ecological and full of color style. We finally designed the so-called «Blooming House» to host the entire exhibition area of the MODS and MEDITERRANEA collections of Q. It was a house (des) composed of different modules located right in the center of the stand. We designed on the facade a series of combinations of flamiré wood that generated quadrangular shapes and straight lines giving an ecological and modern air to the space. This “house” was designed to include, in addition to the Q collections, a bar and meeting area. Our proposal consisted of three main objectives: 1. Renew the old structure of the stand; 2. Design a space that would collect the exhibition area of the Q mark and act as a meeting room; 3. Perform an interior design work for two environments of 20m2 each: “It’s Time for Tea” and “The Barber Shop”
